Embroidery backing is a non-woven product applied to the back of a garment before a design is sewn onto the other side. Spectex’s tearaway cap embroidery offers many production benefits. Cap embroidery backing maintains tension on the bobbin thread, allows the embroiderer to switch production without adjusting machine settings and prevents cap fabric and fiber from becoming stuck in the machine.
