Slitting Services

We specialize in custom slitting, rewinding and routing. Spectex’s slitting services are conducted by experienced technicians utilizing state-of-the-art slitting equipment.

Our skiving services are routinely performed on a range of foam, rubber and urethane bun materials. We reduce the thickness of these materials to generate uniform thicknesses to within 0.005 inch tolerance.

Our reel-to-reel slitting machines can accommodate a wide range of roll formations including narrow web slitting and paper roll slitting. Width tolerances of 0.010 inch are routinely achieved. Spectex utilizes a range of cutting methods including hot knife, razor, score and sheer and as well as multiple winding techniques such as center, surface, center-surface, duplex with optional lay on rollers. All products can be delivered with pressure sensitive adhesive backing.
