Spectex Company History
1971: ERA Industries is started by Robert and Elizabeth Adell. The business offers basic converting services not only in textiles but a vast array of materials.
1999: Eric Adell, son of Robert and Elizabeth is named President of ERA Industries in Seabrook, NH.
2000: Victor Pisinski and Kevin Stanley become active in operations at ERA, Industries.
2001: Victor Pisinski and Kevin Stanley form Specialty Textile Products in Gonic, NH. Focus is on slitting and converting of nonwoven textiles.
2003: Specialty Textile Products acquires Fabricated Apparel Services of Lawrence, MA. Embroidery backings are introduced as a product offering. A strategic relationship with Hollingsworth & Vose of Walpole, MA soon follows.
2004: Specialty Textile Products is named New England distributor of embroidery backing by Hollingsworth & Vose 2005: March: Specialty Textiles outgrows its Gonic, NH location and relocates to a modern industrial facility in Rochester, NH.
October 2005: The acquisition merger of ERA Industries and Specialty Textile Products is made formal when ERA Industries consolidates its operation with Specialty Textile Products. SPECTEX LLC is formed. Managing members represent 75 years of combined experience and talent in the converting industry. The principals and management team of SPECTEX: Victor Pisinski, President and Treasurer Kevin Stanley, VP of Manufacturing Eric Adell, VP of Sales & Marketing The production facility is now expanded to over 25,000 square feet.
November 2005: JB Dawn Products, manufactures of adhesive backed felt products, is acquired from Booth Felt of Chicago, Illinois and is relocated to the Rochester, NH location. This strategic move further enhances the adhesive back product offerings of Spectex and broadens its customer base. |
